We are currently searching for a contract System Administrator/Engineer for a Downtown Chicago client.

The experiences we are looking for include:

1. Data center diagrams – detailed documentation of all hardware assets in a production data center. This will included experiences with planning a disaster recovery data center that will replicate the current production and the detailed diagrams to facilitate this type of installation.

2. Server installations and moves within a production data center. This production data center is being upgraded to add capacity which will involve moving some machines for correct racking of the servers and related equipment.

3. Strong knowledge of LINUX OS and networking

4. Windows and Active Directory experience is a plus
This as most Data Center Engineering roles do will require late afternoon, evenings and some weekend work.
