Product Sales Lead

Our client a global agricultural fresh product service company is seeking a Sales Lead to represent their products and services. The company is relationship-focused and looking for candidates with strong rapport skills and who will take a vested interest in the company’s products and services. This opportunity will allow the ideal candidate to showcase their passion for the fresh product/agriculture industry.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Identify potential customers and generate new revenue
  • Supporting existing business customer’s needs
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers negotiating product service pricing
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes good telephone etiquette, and all other aspects of customer service 

Qualifications:

  • Energetic, aggressive, outgoing professional attitude/personality
  • Must have knowledge in the fresh products industry (i.e. sales, inspector, broker, etc.)
  • Effective communication and customer service skills, with MS Office and other computer programs such as spreadsheets, word processing, email, etc.
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Growth and sales oriented and the ability to work and succeed in a team atmosphere
  • Drive and motivation to generating new business, and maintain current relationships
  • 5 years of experience in a fresh product company or industry referred
  • Conversational skills in spanish preferred but not required
  • Travel from Sacramento to San Diego California required, home base is flexible

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
